HOWDY!
I’m Camila Padilha, a director and storyboarder from Rio de Janeiro, and a digital "do-it-all" artist! Trigged about music and animation, my experience ranges from creating a simple illustration to bringing an entire film to life, from start to finish.
Throughout my career, I’ve published two comic books, created a webcomic, built a Facebook page with over 300K followers, released an original vinyl, and created hundreds of storyboards for clients such as Sanrio, Nickelodeon Jr., and Prime Video.
My most recent achievements include directing my first short film, Serendipity, which premiered at LALIFF in June 2026, and developing my next films, Hunting Dog, winner of the MAIA 2026 Best Short Film Pitch and the Annecy Award at APA LAB 2026. I’m also developing my super colorful and musical feature film Já É Natal!, winner of the Best Pitch Award at Ventana Sur 2024.
